What topics are covered?

Introduction Session: Is there more to Life than this?

Session 1: Who is Jesus?

Session 2: Why did Jesus die?

Session 3: How can we have Faith?

Session 4: Why and How do i Pray?

Session 5: Why and How should I read the Bible?

Session 6: Holy Spirit away day at a local venue. (Scheduled for Saturday 10th November.)

Session 7: How can i resist evil?

Session 8: Why and How should I tell others?

Session 9: Does God heal today?

Session 10: What about the church?

Last Session: How can i make the most of the rest of my life?

  The Holy Spirit away day is a day out learning specifically about the Holy Spirit. Topics discussed and answered throughout the day are: Who is the Holy Spirit? What does the Holy Spirit do? How can i be filled with the Holy Spirit? 

Lunch is provided.

What size is the course?

Answer:

 Alpha courses are usually based around a small group of people no more than 12, which are led by one or two hosts. The role of the host is to facilitate and encourage discussion. The group will stay together for the duration of the Alpha Course. This is to allow the group to know each other better and enhance discussions throughout the weeks they spend, learning about Christianity.


How long are each sessions?

Answer:

 We eat Diner lasting about 30min, Then listen to a lesson lasting aprox. 30 min followed by small group discussions for an hour. The entire evening last no more than 2.5 hours.
